Casa Cooya

Location:
Wallumedegal Country / Hunters Hill

‘Casa Cooya’ presents a timeless, strong and respectful face to the streetscape with the regular rhythm of the colonnade rising from the front garden and within the water feature leading to the entry. The regular façade rhythm continues in the rear garden where they soften into sculpted arched forms framing views of the pool and garden from the living areas. Heavily textured render diffuses the light and adds to the calm simplicity of the white and black tones. Passive environmental measures are the wide eaves, double glazed thermally-broken steel-framed doors and windows deeply recessed behind colonnades with additional active systems of hydronic underfloor heating, solar PV array and EV charging.
