This steep slope on the water in Mosman required architecture, interior design and styling services to create a new family home. The steep site creates opportunities to reveal the house and its views as a narrative. The approach begins by crossing a footbridge, guided by timber portals before reaching the entry. Once inside, limewashed timber walls, sheer curtains and dark-stained floors complement the expansive water views. Large skylights, full height glazing and white walls diffuse the northerly light through the multi-level home. Fluted timbers in white oak and flooring in smoked oak are used as a textural element throughout the home.
