The multi-storey Queensland Government Savings Bank, Brisbane served a number of state government offices after the Savings Bank closed in 1920. Adding five additional levels to the original building, it is now a 220-room hotel overlooking Queen’s Park and the Brisbane River. The handsome civic building offers unique features for the Toga Group’s Adina hotel. The former banking chamber provides a Grand Hotel lobby and a 160-person restaurant. A mezzanine overlooks the lobby and restaurant spaces while housing conference rooms. An open-air pool in the former light well completes the entry level facilities.
