This project commenced with a Master Plan that responds to the educational vision of Redlands and provides the framework for the physical transformation of the Senior Campus in a series of stages in the next 20 years. The Master Plan was approved by the NSW Department of Planning and Environment in April 2016.
Stage 1 of the Master Plan includes a New Learning Hub with flexible, larger and contemporary learning spaces for English, Mathematics, Social Science, Visual Arts and Innovative Design. Stage 1 also includes a state of the art Music Centre alongside new Administration and Pastoral Care facilities and a large landscaped podium, providing more outdoor space and improved visual amenity for students and neighbours.
Other components of the Master Plan include: two additional high-tech ‘learning hubs’, including larger classrooms and open plan communal areas to support flexible, collaborative learning; a new sports complex and multi-purpose lecture theatre and renewal of existing heritage buildings.
