Point Piper, NSW
Originally built in the 1950s, this heritage listed house required alterations and additions to allow the current owners to fully appreciate their coastal lifestyle. The unique curved shape of the original house was designed using a series of French curves.
Influenced by these curves, the addition of an entry lift, entertaining lawn and pool are seamlessly integrated into the design of the original house.
Design of the swimming pool is inspired by the client, who is an Olympic synchronised swimmer. The entry space is representative of the client’s admiration of the visual artist James Turrell, whose work focuses on light and space.
