The uniquely curved form of this mid-20th century modernist house is its defining character and led to its current heritage listing. Designed using a series of French curve templates, it required sensitive modifications to bring enhanced functionality and vastly-improved entry access to the house’s cliff-top location. Following the strong influence of the original design curves, the additions of an entry hall, lift and a sinuous pedestrian staircase rising to the entertaining lawn and the pool are seamlessly integrated into the original house. It remains a timeless family home defying eras and secures the significance of the house for another generation.
