The transformation of Homebush West Public School from approximately 480 students to 900 students capacity involves the construction of a new three level building with 28 new homebases. There is also minor refurbishment of the existing homebases to suit future focused learning including the expansion of COLA (Covered Outdoor Learning Area) and replacement of the canteen.
Critical to the design of this project is the use of the roof space of the building for active and passive play space. These new learning facilities are designed to meet with the schools aspirations for contemporary pedagogy.
