This development adds two new levels and a mezzanine of commercial office space on top of an existing four storey mixed use building in Surry Hills, designed in the 1980’s and constructed in the early 1990s. The new strata office suites complement the variety of commercial spaces available in this established area of Surry Hills close to Central Station.

The principal objective was to retain the existing fabric of the building, with minor upgrading works at street level. The existing retail spaces on the ground floor and commercial office suites on Levels 1 to 3 remain unchanged and were operational throughout the construction of the new roof addition. The ground floor works included the provision of a compliant accessible sanitary facility and the upgrading of the entrance doors, common lobby and external paving within the site boundary.
