John joined the practice in 1998 and has considerable experience in the design, documentation and contract administration for housing projects, including residential developments and individual houses.
My philosophy is that residential design has developed a philosophy towards home design that reflects today’s living style, whether working with new green sites or older heritage stock. Inclusive to this process are the client’s objectives, site and contextual influences and good passive energy design principles.
Each architectural solution is unique and we seek to provide the most interesting and appropriate design solution. Our design process is a collaborative one, involving a team led by a director, a project architect and an interior designer on all projects to ensure a personalized service.
The range of project types includes new private residences, substantial alterations and additions to houses, country homesteads, beach houses, apartment developments and luxury commercial housing projects for some of Australia’s leading development companies.
